Services

Cassandra is pleased to offer virtual individual and group services for adolescents and adults.

Individual Sessions

Drama Therapy sessions: These sessions welcome and integrate personal, creative expression. Drama therapy uses movement, body language, art-making, and other projective techniques to engage in the therapy process. This form of therapy is accessible for all age groups.

Psychotherapy sessions: This form of therapy is recommended for individuals who prefer a more traditional, talk-based approach to therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) sessions: This approach to therapy involves identifying thought patterns and behaviors that may not be the most helpful in our lives. This information is then used to inform goal setting and other practical techniques to help individuals create helpful coping strategies.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) sessions: Exposure work is often quite different than most people might expect. ERP falls under the CBT umbrella of therapy, which means that it is structured and goal-oriented. This process is one that is created in mutual collaboration between the therapist and client- no exposure work will be done without an individual's full consent and control.

There is an opportunity for limited sliding scale spots upon request for clients who are 2SLGBTQ+, BIPOC and/or folks with disabilities.

Group Sessions

Cassandra's group session services are available in partnership with existing not-for-profit or collective organizations. These sessions often centre around a presenting concern or a theme that connects the group members to one another.

Group sessions are offered as a series, with six or eight-week options available. The size of the groups are adjusted according to the supports that are in place with the partnering organization. In-person sessions are an option for group-based work.

Please note that there are no open group therapy or support groups being assembled at this time.
